We are the largest, by far, consumer of Chinese goods in the world.

Two minor examples of Chines items we use in the U.S. -

1. Steel - Structural steel and Pipe to build refineries, Many of these require MAJOR testing to verify Materials quality as Specified - 304S has to be 304S not Carbon steel

2. BOLTS - same issue as steel only MUCH more critical

The Chines lie and produce garbage - very similar to Soviets.

I pretend to work and you pretend to pay me, I believe is the way things still operate in Commie countries - Venezuela being the example closest to the U.S.

For years I worked as a buyer for a chain of 2000 stores and imported multiple container sized products from China. Everything from cans of tuna to Christmas tree lights. It didn’t take me long to realize that buying food products from China was extremely risky. We beefed up our QC to a point were the margins were not as attractive from China as say Korea. Of course the slightest of problems involving food items reflected very poorly on our chain. While Americans will be paying more for just about everything in the future, the benefits to our Country will more than offset the extra costs. We must act before China owns the whole shooting match.
