A ‘Wall of Grief’ mural marks the spot where a 15-year-old Bronx boy, who wanted to be a detective when he grew up, fell victim last month to a New York City drug gang with a long history of ruthless violence.
The mural pays tribute to Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz who was killed June 20 by a group of Trinitarios in a crime that sent shockwaves reverberating through the Big Apple and beyond. The murder captured the attention of music stars Rihanna and Cardi B.
News outlets aired chilling surveillance video of the boy struggling for his life as he was dragged out of a bodega and slashed with a machete and knives.

Bronx prosecutors last week announced the indictment of 12 Trinitarios in the boy’s death and said Lesandro was killed after he was mistaken for a Trinitario from a rival “set” the group was plotting against. Police said Lesandro had no gang affiliation.
Two days earlier, in another shocking display of violence, Trinitarios stabbed and beat a 14-year-old member of a rival gang as cars stopped on a busy Bronx six-lane highway. The boy was stabbed more than 13 times and had to be revived after going into cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital. Police released video of the attack and federal prosecutors arrested a Bronx man who admitted striking the boy with a log.

The death penalty needs to be brought back.
Especially now with video surveillance being able to positively identify the perps with images of them caught in the act.

Double-triple “honestly”, they’re not worth the cost of firing up the family aircraft! Plus there’s still plenty of room in the nearby wilds of Jersey or similar locale in any city. Instead of grieving over innocents like young Lesandro Guzman, quietly help a criminal such as a Trinitariano return to nature.
I feel the same way.
Someone with that callous a disregard for human life is not someone I want to share the planet with.
The whole idea of gun control is to protect the criminals form good and honest citizens.

I was thinking more along the lines of lynch mobs need to be made legal in certain circumstances.

You'll see this case as the prime example. It's heinous enough for the hanging nooses to come out right when they are caught. A little taste of their own medicine.
At least that is the outcome I would like to see happen to these thugs.

Seriously, can we devise a plan to give disinformation to each side and get them to exterminate each other in a gang war? In a place where nothing important would be destroyed like Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco or Baltimore? Give the 1,002 non-persons of color residents a day in the country. Pay per view money to go to ICE funding.
