When has Time ever treating the Trump Presidency factually rather than give opinions? This is the (embarrassing pandemonium) by the very rude press people....manner-less and non-professional. Not one of those reporters regardless of who they are and which publication they work for, not one of them should be allowed near the White House for a month and then only allowed in the press room after he/she has written a note of apology and then, only allowed back on probation.

Just as soon as the media will stop their anti-Trump rhetoric, falsely accusing him of everything.

Sulzberger can bend over, spread his cheeks, and shove his comment back.... wherever.

These A-holes in the liberal press do not like being called out when they publish lies and left wing political propaganda.

TOO DAMN BAD FOR YOU....

Oh, piff.

The Times doesn't like to be criticized; they feel they're above it. It's a fact they have an important role to play and they're doing a pi$$-poor job of it.

If it was just the Times, that's one thing. When the entire industry has seemingly lost their kinds, that calls for "anti-press rhetoric."

What he meant is that trump just takes hits from media and not return fires like other republican presidents or politicians

I would ask whoever this guy is (don’t care, forgot as soon as I scrolled down): when are YOU going to start behaving responsibly? The media along with a lot of high-rankers on both sides of the congressional aisle, as well as the intelligence community, tried to throw the last election, why should the people and Trump, who caught the brunt of it, give you any credence? Respect goes both ways, jerk.

America’s journalists are indeed the enemy of the American state and the arch-enemy of the American people. Anyone who’s been paying attention has known this for years. Their attacks on this country and its people have gotten much worse since PDT’s election, true, but journos have been deadly enemies of the American people for many decades.

The “journalists” are all just pawns of the major corporations.

It is possible that Trump has a deliberate plan to make some kind of big deal with young (37 yrs.) Arthur Gregg Sulzberger, complete with the leverage all lined up to make it a fait accompli (like approaching Kim Jong Un, for example).

The unmarried and gaydar alerting "Little Arthur" has just been given the helm of a ship heading for the financial rocks. Oh what to do! What to do!

In his vulnerable position he might be unable to resist a strong set of incentives and disincentives - especially if they were carefully researched ahead of time, to accurately target what really motivates him.

Of course, Little Arthur needs a cover story to guard his Left flank, to explain why he met with Hitler, but we don't really know what was discussed.

The President might have just wanted them to lay off bashing his daughter, or it might have been a general purpose outreach courtesy invitation. But it also could have been "look over these photos of you, and these documents/numbers here, and know that you now will do exactly what I tell you, from here on out. Possibly some mix.

Little Arthur:

Ann Coulter once joked that if the New York Times really cared about diversity, they would have a heterosexual on their editorial board.

In a statement, publisher A.G. Sulzberger said he decided to comment publicly after Trump revealed their off-the-record meeting to his more than 53 million Twitter followers on Sunday. Trump’s aides had requested that the July 20 meeting not be made public, Sulzberger said.

Love the way Trump plays them - requests they don't leak the meeting and maintains the right to change his mind .... must make them feel like so many of the victims they abuse as SOP.
