I don’t care how “smart” a computer is, garbage in still creates garbage out. Any computer ultimately is driven by its programming. They do exactly what they are programmed to do, whether it is a complex or simple task. The more complex, the more opportunities for Murphy’s Law to come into play.

“They do exactly what they are programmed to do, whether it is a complex or simple task.”

Only in the classical, sequential programming model. AI can in effect write its own programming, whether desirable or not, and whether or not anticipated by human developers.
