A West Virginia sheriff's deputy has posted a harrowing account of her fight with a suspect on Facebook in order to, as she puts it, to give "a swift kick in the ass to a lot of cops."
Brooke County Sheriff's Deputy Kristen Richmond and three of her colleagues were called to Bethany College early Friday to respond to a report of a man throwing things out a third-floor dorm window. After they arrived, Richmond encountered 21-year-old Brandon Jackson, whom she said "was gooned up on an unknown drug."

I am extremely impressed she did not take out her service weapon. That took incredible discipline. I wish her a speedy and complete recovery. God bless our policemen/ women.
The worst part is, if someone’s high on drugs, a taser probably wouldn’t slow him down at all. Short of a bullet through the head you’re on your own.
In the Korean War, the norks would dope up the front line and send them in human wave attacks, then follow up with the regulars.
No one on drugs is safe for a cop. There should be laws that allow lethal force if a criminal exhibits drug-induced violent behavior.
No policeman should ever have to put himself in that kind of danger.

When I was in college we had a nasty AA student throw furniture and live animals off the 19th floor balcony. He, of course, flunked out but UMass "felt good" about itself.

What??!! That “poor” student nearly killed a policewoman and could have badly injured fellow students. Bethany College really taught him how to “love justice and peace.” No doubt Hillary supporters.
How about rallying behind and supporting that policewoman? Who knows how long her recuperation will take?
