The only way to ensure the integrity of our elections is a return to paper ballots, a "back to the future" scenario that somehow doesn't seem to excite many Democrats. They would rather wail about "Russia hacking the election" to delegitimize President Trump, even though Rod Rosenstein recently assured us that not one vote was changed.
The fact that no electronic voting system can be reliably protected against hackers was once again demonstrated this weekend at "Defcon," a computer gathering in Las Vegas.

Hackers there took on the challenge of hacking into 30 voting machines and made quick work of it. CBS News reports:
Hackers from around the world had the rare opportunity to crack election-style voting machines this weekend in Las Vegas – and they didn't disappoint.
After nearly an hour and a half, Carsten Schürmann, an associate professor with IT-University of Copenhagen, successfully cracked into a voting machine at Las Vegas' Defcon convention on Friday night, CNET reports.
Schürmann penetrated Advanced Voting Solutions' 2000 WinVote machine through its Wi-Fi system. Using a Windows XP exploit from 2003, he was able to remotely access the machine, CNET reports.
Voting technology was thrust into the political spotlight when election systems in several states were targeted by Russian cyber attacks. The convention purchased more than 30 voting machines for the event, although, organizers didn't specify how many models those units represented.
The solution is very simple. Paper ballots now! And since we're worried about election fraud, voter ID, too.

What in hell is an “election-style voting machine?” Why “election-style” if it’s not a legit voting machine?

Taking this statement at face value, there are two questions. Why would a voting machine have a WiFi access point? Why would a voting machine in 2017 have Windows XP as its underlying OS?
There was nothing wrong with punch cards, they were cheap and reliable.
The only problem that arose was hanging chads from stacks of ballots being punched at the same time.
I believe it was Divine Providence.
Old software is common in voting machines because local budgets cannot bear the expense of new machines and software every few years when the machines are only rarely used. Wi-Fi is used for the same of convenience and lower cost in loading the ballot and downloading vote counts.
Very bad news for the Democrats, voting machine hacks are the bedrock of their “base”.
I agree with “paper ballots” without hanging paper chads. Only throw the switch ones. I also want voting rolls purged and people’s fingers (thumb0 marked with a red marker to show they voted, just like they do it in Mexico. everyone had to have an ID for unemployment, “SSI”, welfare / food stamps, cashing checks, etc, so no ID or no enrollment, no vote. No drive up voter registration and drivers lic. only as an ID’ not proof of citizenship. Also, if one illegal voted based on Obama’s “Whose going to look for you (check internet -YouTube)

Democrats have been murdering unborn children, future Democratic voters, for decades. This evil practice had to catch up to them sometime in the ballot boxes. That’s why Democrats are probably trying to replace Democratic voters that they aborted with illegal alien voters.
It doesn’t help that we used foreign countries’ software and counting.
I’m not sure which is worse.... hackable machines or paper ballots which dems ALWAYS used to find the next day in the trunks of cars or box trucks.... always just enough paper ballots to swing the vote tally.
paper ballots is how Daley gave JFK the vote.
How about Voter ID, that would be my number 1 priority. The rest is a distraction.
Maybe we had the better hackers this time.
Or that George Soros owns major shares of each and every one.
