During today’s Morning Joe discussion of what was described as a “rambling,” contradictory, Fox News interview with Rudy Giuliani regarding meetings by Trump campaign staff with Russians, Mike Barnicle seemed to suggest that Giuliani might have been drunk.
After airing a clip of Giuliani, Joe Scarborough asks, “what’s he saying?”, Barnicle replies, “another round,” and Scarborough adds “my drinks are free.” A bit later, Barnicle says:
“What time of night was he interviewed for that? That’s my question.”
Mika Brzezinski replied: “There’s that question: a good one.”

At 1:25 in the YouTube, Scarborough, facetiously mimicking Rudy, says:
“[Somebody] is a friend of mine. My drinks are free.”
I can’t make out the name of the person that Rudy, per Scarborough, said was a friend of his. I’m assuming that it’s someone at Fox News, and that on such basis, Rudy was saying that “my drinks are free.”
Can anyone make out the name?

When I was a wee lad, I recall watching some of the Republican convention. 1960, probably. The only thing I clearly remember was seeing Nelson Rockefeller. He was obviously drunk and he fell over a chair trying to get to the camera.
Yes - the CNN interview yesterday morning was ridiculous. I don’t know if he was drunk - but he did ask for coffee a few times. His claims about the audio being altered was not convincing...just sounded made up - and didn’t sound “forensic.” A 12 year old kid with a copy of Audacity would have been more convincing. If his job was to discredit Cohen - he failed miserably.
Did Giuliani ever find a dead intern in his office?
