Mr. RightField and I couldn’t make it to the rally, but we just drove around the airport and saw Air Force One parked there. We’re now parked near the end of the runway in a parking lot, hoping to see it take off. We’ve never seen it in person before.
One time I had the honor of being kicked out of the pattern at Palm Springs airport in my C-182 in order to allow Air Force 1 to land with President Reagan. Enjoy the sight!
