You mean like the current crops of colleges who are offering degrees in "Womens Studies" and has courses in "How Lesbian Thoughts & Leadership empower today's women in competitive workplace management" or "66 Genders: going beyond the original Gay, Lesbian & Bisexual Paradise"
Apart from these fake majors, the subjects will make even a dog gag & vomit in revulsion.
Some of these colleges are more like a recruiting camp for perverts & hell than an educational institution.
Things really went to hell when they started calling the personnel deparment “HR”.

I’m not making that up - read some of his stuff. He’s amazing.
I disagree. The reason these majors exist is because black students and others need a major. Screwed up kids need a major. So you get these African studies and women studies and American Indian studies. Then the “professors” who teach these classes end up teaching freshman writing classes and what counts for history classes.
You really have just three groups of professors now. Science and engineering and math, collectively STEM. Then you have business, collectively how to get a career. And finally you have what used to be liberal arts which is now collectively, how to be a liberal. But that used to be History, Philosophy, English Lit. and soft sciences (like Psych, Econ, Soc, and Poli Sci).

Sadly, the present state of “higher education” is that many, maybe most, schools are in the business of selling degrees. The courses/majors are unimportant and the grades meaningless. The student is a commodity sought and competed for with other institutions just for their tuition money that enable the administration and staff, professors and instructors to earn six and seven figure incomes.
“Business of selling degrees!” Remember that phrase.
