Todays’ CNN has confused asking tough questions with advocacy. By that I mean the reporter deciding what’s right and wrong in this world and then setting out to prove it. That’s not what journalism is. You have to approach each story or person you are interviewing with an open mind and listen before you report. That’s not what they do anymore.

John Gray is a local TV and Print reporter and is not considered a conservative. The interesting takeaway from this article is that even people in the media and surrounded by media people and a lot of liberals can see that CNN has become fake news, Corrupt and basically a Left-Wing Activist Company.

So are people in general waking up to this bias , yes, and that's not good for CNN's "credibility" when the world is aware that they are corrupted.

I’ve heard people wonder if the #Walkaway movement is real. I don’t even understand that thinking. There are a lot of ordinary people surfing around YouTube looking for funny videos of cats, and they stumble on a #Walkaway video and maybe they watch it. And maybe they start thinking, “These are really good points. Those Democrats are bad people!” It doesn’t matter how sincere the original #Walkaway videomaker might be about the movement. People are getting influenced and their eyes are being opened. It’s a good thing.

And if people in the media like John Gray are looking at CNN and talking about how fake it is, and what bad journalism it is ... that’s awesome.

I remember back in the seventies when Cable was new, everyone loved CNN. It was an alternative to the big three, giving live updates on the events of the day. This led to CNN becoming so full of themselves, an attitude that continues to this day. Check-out their airport “monopoly”, not even airline customers are watching anymore.

I had a revelation while watching a #walkaway testimony video. It seems that both leftists are conservatives are walking away from the deep state. However, conservatives have a single place to walk to: Trump.

The leftists had Bernie, but he does not have the power or message of trump, and he was so shafted by the Dems that they hate the dems even more than ever.

The strength of the Donald is that the left has no single equivalent, so their angst is fragmented and not behind any charismatic leader. If they are able to find a center, this could get interesting. I suspect both parties are about to go through major transformation.

I think CNN was pretty good in the 80's into the early 90's. They went off the rails when Clinton became President and are now totally insane. Which is why their top-rated prime time show struggles to get a million viewers.

It's a shame because there is a huge untapped market for a news source that would play it straight (never been much of a fan of Fox).

I never had cable and actually got rid of TV altogether back in 197 so I am only occasionally exposed to CNN in building lobbies, etc. The comical thing about that worthless network is what I observed a few months ago. I had hit the internet and got all my foreign and domestic news regarding Europe, Russia, middle east problems, the Norks, border news and other domestic news. Then, during lunch break I went to the lobby of my building to wait in a long line to order my lunch and waited for them to make it. The whole time, CNN was on the lobby flat screen.

And the whole time their story was Stormy Daniels.

In my mind, CNN is comedic in their attempt to be taken seriously.

There is little or no objective media left in the US. While there has always been a liberal bias dating back to the time when Walter Cronkite told us ..”that’s the way it is”.. the broadcast media, especially CNN, have devolved into a 24/7 version of Orwell’s two minute hate. The talking heads at CNN gleefully characterize anything negative against Trump as certain to bring down his presidency and often end up in spittle spewing rants of anti Trump vitriol. With studies showing that the US media stories are 90%+ negative no wonder their ratings are tanking

CNN and the rest have forgotten that there are two sides to every story. They only report the side they prefer, leaving viewers blind and deaf to any other point of view. Objectivity is no more. Integrity is no more. Journalists don’t deserve the name. They are partisan hacks, nothing else.
