I started listening to Rush when he was local in Sacramento California. I was a service tech on the road a lot and was always having to search on the radio for something to listen to.

I stopped on what I thought was an OLDIES station as there was an old song on. Imagine my surprise when Rush jumped in with his HOMELESS update. I was hooked for many years.

First heard rush on the car radio while on the job in 1988. was amazed to hear something like that on the air and when the jingle came one I thought they were saying Rush Limbo.

So for a week or so he was Rush Limbo to me.

Lost a daily interest in him once I found FR, which is show prep for Rush.
