Think the entire show was either done at night or maybe on weekend.
WMAL had a VERY popular news program on at noon took a bit before they started running him ‘live’ 12-3PM
I saw Rush on his TV show not knowing who he was, then hearing him on AM radio (somewhere probably Midwest) and finally came to my area locally at 12 PM (live). The rest is history. My Grandfather, Reagan and Rush solidified my Conservative roots.
