In its haste to attack Trump, USA Today has a 1st page article claiming Trump, the Players and the Owners lead the battle over standing for the National Anthem. I guess they think the fans are not involved.

As long as the stupidity of the players and owners persist, many fans WON'T BE INVOLVED! I grew up 15 minutes from Texas Stadium! I have been a life long Cowboys fan! I have been to many games. Two years ago, when this crap all started I watched about eight games. Last year I may have watched parts of four games. I have not watched the last two Super Bowls (I had NEVER missed a Super Bowl until two years ago).

I am done with the NFL. I enjoy my Sundays with my family and getting some things done around the house.

So, USA Today is kind of right - the fans are getting less and less involved in this brouhaha, because they are walking away.
