I am Jewish, and know for a fact that over 100 of my distant relatives on my mother’s side were murdered by the Nazis. On my father’s side, many fewer were murdered by the Nazis, but that is because most of his side of the family was living in a giant open-air prison, known as the Soviet Union, for about 75 years.
I will not voluntarily give up my firearms. Period. If, somehow, they managed to get confiscated and I am left free and alive, then I will do everything humanly possible to buy, make or steal other firearms with which to protect myself and my family. In the past my family had no firearms, and because they were unable to defend themselves they were either murdered or forced to live under one of the worst dictatorships to ever exist. Neither I nor my family will be so victimized by our government.
The democrat gun control politician Laval was eventually executed but he should have been executed when he first brought the measures 10 years earlier.

Heck, the USSR and French Communists also collaborated in rounding up Jews as well.
An armed citizenry is definitely the only surefire way to avoid tyranny. That being said, we also need to do it right. Technically, Robespierre’s France never had gun control or gun registration either, yet that definitely didn’t prevent a tyranny, it if anything made things even more horrific. Heck, based on the fact that the Cordeliers Club used our founding documents as the basis and made the Jacobins look like moderates, it’s very likely they had a second amendment, and yet they STILL managed to use their second amendment freedom to cause a show by shooting people with shotguns for a laugh, as you can read here: http://www.culturewars.com/CultureWars/Archives/Fidelity_archives/parricide.html
In other words, gun control is bad and should not be practiced ever, neither should gun registration. But we also must make sure we not become like the Jacobins or Cordeliers and use the second amendment as a means to kill each other for a laugh.
