It still sucks though, and goes as further proof that they were out to snare someone connected to President Trump, even if only briefly, with charges to justify their existence and continued BS. They should all be brought up on charges instead.

And it’s likely they’re not done. Anything “new” about Trump that Manafort may reveal from here on will be highly suspect. Will Manafort make something up, just to get out of solitary and to get his freedom back? I forget the term he used but Dershowitz mentioned as a legit concern that a desperate POW might make up just to ease his plight.
