Economists in this country are one-sided free trade asses. The rest of the world's economist and governments know this and exploit us because of it. All of our "economists" should be rounded up hogtied and whipped repeatedly.
The 30 year globalist experiment in "Free Trade" is an abject failure. Why? because the rest of the of world didn't play along and used the USA like a cheap whore. Thanks US economists. How did we get saddled with these losers? We need to import some real economists from the rest of the world. I think an H-1b visa program JUST for economists is order.

The economics of Free Trade can work. The problem is not that, but the POLITICIANS who don't know how to implement it. Donald Trump has stated he is in favor of Free Trade. . . but BOTH SIDES have to be practicing it. . . with out playing games with the other's imports. If they are, then we have to force them to stop. Before Trump, our politicians have lacked the will to do that with the tools that trade offers provides them. Trump uses them and right now he has started to apply them to FORCE the offenders to renegotiate the rules they will play under and agree to PLAY FAIRLY, and not implement regulations outside of the "free trade" agreements!
The free market will settle things so long as it doesn't have arbitrary regulation that stands in the way of free choice.
