Pravda, in the days of the Soviet Union, would write articles full of truth but toned in such a way that if you didn't know how to read the article you would believe their crap.

They once wrote an article about Fatima that had all the relevant truth in it. People just had to bystep the nauseous stuff.

People found that was the only way to read an article and glean out the truth.

So, that means that the NYT is now the old Pravda.
