Makes me angry that they pushed the son away as he was caressing his stepdad's face.

In many cases, an individual shot by an officer will be left to bleed out, even without applying first aid.

The man was identified to police as an innocent homeownwer, they should have reacted accordingly, uncuffing him, and applying first aid.

That same behavior (regarding allowing the injured to bleed out) on the part of law enforcement is why the defense has still to this day not recieved all of the discovery information to which they are entitled regarding Waco, and why there will therefore never be any convictions.

“In many cases, an individual shot by an officer will be left to bleed out, even without applying first aid.”

This is because wrongful death settlements are typically much lower than settlements with survivors who have to deal with permanent injuries and disabilities, not to mention they get all mouthy about their civil rights.
