Acosta didn't like it. He reported, "Honestly, it felt like we weren’t in America anymore."
But, like virtually everything Acosta reports, this is just a reflection of his small-minded biases. The fact is, having a group of people scream at you and denigrate you is exactly what it feels like to be in America —
if you don't happen to be a coastal elite. It has felt this way for the last twenty years at least. Every television show you watch, every movie, every woman's magazine, every comedian, and, yes, every news program tells you you suck. Your country sucks. Your culture sucks. Your religion and your morals suck. And you personally are one of those dumb-ass racists who clings to his Bible and talks funny.
If you believe your country should vet its immigrants, you're racist. If you voted for Donald Trump, you're racist. If you make a joke about Barack Obama on Facebook, you're racist twice. If you think motherhood is a woman's highest calling, you're sexist. If you take it ill when Islamists blow you up in the name of their nasty little god, you're Islamophobic. If you know that a man is a man even if he says he's a woman, you're transphobic. If you think it's fair to debate whether homosexual actions are moral or not, you're homophobic.
Every day. From every outlet. All the time. And now people are angry. Wonder why.

Along those lines it has been SO funny to see comments where the left tries to reuse “triggered” and “snowflake” but since they don’t understand the terms the attempts are just clunky and wrongly-applies.
Here’s the thing....people don’t watch the CNN White House press coverage piece. They go straight to CSPAN or YouTube. Over a thirty year period...up until 2017, I probably watched the press conference maybe ten times in my life. In the past two years, I’ve watched sixty of the press conferences. With the stupid questions and 300-word detailed questions...it just demonstrates to me the people hired for the networks are just ‘stooges’. About three months ago, they had some idiot who had a question that took almost three minutes to get the question in simple details because he wanted to state his opinion.
Yep, the “fake news” meme was started as an attempt to censor conservative voices, but has been completely reversed onto the originators.
He forgot, if you support the NRA, you’re a murderer.
When that 90% negative coverage of our President by the press changes, then we will consider changing our attitude toward these Leftist cry babies.

The press started it’s collective tantrum the night Trump won the Presidency.
I believe their outrageous behavior is less about Trump and more about his voters.
The press is angry because they were unable to persuade us to vote for Hillary. They are hell-bent on trying to get us to understand that they are right and we are wrong. They have to prove that we should have listened to them.
This is anger over their loss of influence and power.

They were trying to just paint sites as “fake news”. But in the world of the internet, you have to back it up. And since we have hundreds of examples of actual “fake news” coming from the likes of CNN, NYT, etc. we have the high ground in using the phrase.
The internet has completely changed the battlefield, and the left is having similar problems fighting the right that the British had fighting the minutemen.
And the difference is that, in a world where claims are effectively scrutinized to determine what is real ammunition and what isn’t, well, the left is coming up woefully short of ammo.
The media knows they are inspiring Left wing violence with their anti-Trump hate filled vitriol. But recently, they have gotten worse, they have doubled down....must be an election coming up.
Nearly 3 million people voted for Trump and every day CNN puts then down calling the ignorant, idiots and worse. 90%+ of what is broadcast as “news” is anti Trump. So it makes sense that CNN will get booed.

Was Acosta upset when libs screamed at Kirsten Neilsen having dinner in a restaurant or when Sarah Sanders and her family were asked to leave a restaurant or when lib protestors gathered and screamed on front lawns of Republicans or when they screamed at Elaine Cho? Doubt it; suspect he, his network and other liberal networks relished in reporting these stories. Liberal media is finally getting a dose of their own medicine.
Acosta’s complaints are no different than that moron, Lebron James, accusing President Trump as using “sports” as a political platform. Man, those people are retarded.
Freedom of the Press does not mean the Press should be shielded from criticism. That the Press openly asserts such nonsense is exhibit A proof of their bias. Having “Freedom” does not mean we are “angels.” The people are not angels, the people running government are not angels and neither is the Press comprised of angels!
