So why would someone go to the time and effort of getting a vest to protect their life then kill them self?
I guess we’ll never know..................
Because they’re not thinking clearly in the first place.
This guy harbored a grudge for years, made a plan, (ahem) executed it, and poorly thought out the aftermath.
He couldn’t even aspire to Scooby-Doo levels of villainy.
He left a trail; they quickly found out who did it. Then it was only a matter of finding him, and they did.
What was his plan? To take as many cops with him as he could? As Dorner found out the hard way, you’re not surviving that (ahem) firefight.
But he probably did think so, right up until the time he was caught, and then he realized the game was over. All that vest was going to do was make it more likely he would survive long enough to spend some quality time in a Texas prison.
Who wants to do that?
So, he took his own life. A sad end to a sad story. Sometimes doctors screw up, and sometimes loved ones die. Sometimes you just have to deal with it and go on with life. This guy couldn’t, and instead, turned one tragedy into three.
He was working off of a Hit List. I guess he wasn’t done yet.
So he wears the vest for that time being.
Exactly.
There are, for sure, rogue nuts out there, and conspiracies in motion, but also real hits, messages sent, consequences, suicides, narratives composed. We will not know which, and most dont really want to know.
