Husband and father Christian Broder was murdered during a robbery while waiting for an Uber following a wedding reception. Broder and three others were robbed of their wallets and cell phones. After complying with the robbery, Broder foolishly approached Myrick in an effort to ask for his driver's license returned. He was shot and died in the hospital after fighting for his life for two weeks.

Career criminals Jayden Myrick (17) and Torrus Fleetwood (19) have been arrested.
