My thought exactly. That just doesn’t wash. Maybe they couldn’t put together sufficient probable cause to get an indictment, but why would His controllers leave him there for 20 years if he wasn’t giving them somefthong? No, if they had enough info to approach his employer and accuse him of being a spy, they had enough probable cause for a judge to issue search warrants or an arrest warrant at least.

This stinks, and we need to hear the whole story.
