Many State politicians have ignored the elephant in the room :
#1) The 4 female complaints became public immediately before the State Democratic primary, although no criminal charges have yet been filed.
#2) State decisions made by: "The three men in a room":
The previous Democratic House Leader, Silverman, had been convicted of corruption, though now out on bail and appeal.
The previous Republican Senate Leader, Dean Skelos, had been found guilty of corruption, though currently out on bail and appeal.
The "Third man in the room" is Governor Cuomo !
#3) Schneiderman is one of the few Democratic operative politicians who have Statewide name recognition,
as well as he was building a campaign war chest.
I believe that Schneiderman's 'outing' is a result of political chess by Gov. Cuomo, to eliminate any challenge to Cuomo's landslide re-election.
All other challengers to Cuomo's re-election are 'fringe candidates', and of little significant importance.
Schneiderman was definitely a threat to Cuomo.
S/derman aspired to the presidency, as does Cuomo.
S/derman milked every hyphenated vote out there.
He had this little trick of pontificating on issues to like-minded groups while prominent signage advertised his suck-up of the day.
