Sounds like a RICO case to me.

"Nice insurance company you got there. Be a shame if you renewed the NRA's policy, and we had to fine you a few million."

These "public servants" are nothing but gangsters and should be prosecuted federally as such.

I'm not in favor of criminalizing policy differences. But this goes beyond that. It is plainly naked abuse of power.

I think the NRA could make a good case that this is an example of viewpoint discrimination. They have been specifically targeted by a government entity not for any illegal acts they have done but rather because that government - the state of NY - does not like and wishes to suppress their viewpoint.

Good ideas. We have to stop holding back when the bad guys never do that. They tried to call church groups rackets under RICO, didn’t they a while back? Nice folks-—not.
