Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys - are these people we can support?
I don't know. But I do know that if someone shows up with a nazi flag, then I would bet that person is one of soros' paid LARPs.

However, they did a great service in Portland today.
There are Black members of Patriot Prayer and both groups disavow racism adamantly.
What are the Patriot Prayer people demonstrating for or against? Or are the demonstrating nothing and just trying to stir up trouble?
Absolutely. Proud Boys is a kind of defensive militia and is getting training in action. They attack no one but do defent themselves who have become particular targets of the AntiFirstAmendment guys in the black masks and defend women and children who participate in the demos. None of the people involved in PP or PB attack anybody. They just walk.Find the video of the last Portland match and watch the guy attack the PB with an asp and get one-punched to the ground.

What ever happened to “I disagree with what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it”?
I disagree with some of the things their signs say, and with some of the sentiments their symbols imply, but their basic premise, that they have the right to express those views is lawful, Constitutional, and something we should support. Especially since they are gathering and presenting those views, at no little risk to themselves, in support of OUR right to speak and assemble without fear of or threat of violence for daring to do so.
