Imagine My Surprise! (Freeper Editorial)
Original content | 8/4/2018 | By Laz A. Mataz

It’s been a fascinating ten years.

From 2009 to 2017, I was instructed that a President is unrestrained by the Constitution, and that they are all-powerful and can enact laws unilaterally, via Executive Order, and that they can ignore the Constitution as they see fit.

But NOW we learn that Presidents are completely powerless and cannot rescind any Executive Order, set any Administration Policy, or hew to the written law, about any topic, for any reason. That is because to do so would violate unwritten parts of the Constitution.

Let us review the actions that the News Misleadia and the Obama Administration championed, in their quest to inform us that a President is omnipotent:

There are dozens, more, of examples of how a President is the ultimate lawgiver -- the pinnacle-politician, the final arbitrator of absolute law -- unshackled by any other power, person, or institution. Yet suddenly (and I admit complete surprise) we are instructed that Presidents have no powers whatsoever, and may not even invoke privileges detailed in the Constitution and in Legislation. Coincidentally, this new era of enlightenment occurred within seven days of President Trump ascending to this (unexpectedly diluted) position. To wit:

So, we learn first that a President is all-powerful and unrestrained. Then, we learn that a President is utterly powerless and cannot exercise clearly legal and lawfully-delineated actions.

Imagine my surprise. I suppose it all depends on who the President is.

They’re not blind to that fact. They celebrate it and were even calling for it openly in editorials, although never using the word “dictator” of course. What they don’t want is the rule of law restored.

“Obama went well beyond his legal powers. I hope Trump doesn’t.”

It’s looking like a number of judges are going beyond their legal powers! How many were recently overturned at SCOTUS? In the meanwhile they are throwing monkey wrenches into President Trump’s ability to govern, and taking up a good deal of time and $.

"News Misleadia"

Did you coin that? It's a good one and so true.

Great editorial!

The reason for this reversed outlook on things is because all the Obamanable and Bushy judges deciding the fate of all these executive orders, and all these other issues (strictly by the law), all live in that exotic, tropical Caribbean island, Ya-make-it (up-as-you-go), and all the Demoncraps, and the Demoncrap wing of the Repooptheircraps (including Senate Majority Leader, Mitch NoCando, and Speaker of the House, Paul Whining), all live in the wall-less city of No-way Jose, Killitforya.   Their propaganda arm (the News Misleadia) all live in Bull Shovels, Ah-can-snow-em.

City of Bull Shovels
(They can't spell too good down there.)

This makes every effort by the President a tedious, uphill battle, yet he is still getting a lot of good stuff done, in spite of them.

I wish I coined it, I did not.

I do, however, repeatedly use it. It is a meme and a truth I want out there.

Great compilation. Your attention to detail is amazing.

But yeah, this shows you how much power a group unnamed in our Constitution apparently has over our “government.” We have to fight like hell to keep this country as intended because this force pushes very hard to own us. They won for years, too.

Exactly how it was made to happen is what I’d like to know.

It happened in the Passport office. They covered for Obama having never been American, not for one second, until he was handed a ceremonial passport to travel for the US as Senator. Someone even died over it.

Great post, thanks.

The reason - Trump is an “outsider”, a political wrecking ball de-constructing what has taken decades to build and implement. The swamp is fighting back, and if they don’t win, because of the time it takes to get overturned by a 5 - 4 Supreme Court decision, the swamp is doing all they can to minimize or delay the de-construction. After all, Trump cannot be President for more than 8 years, and there is no one (yet?) in the wings who appears to want to carry on what he started.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/apr/19/key-witness-in-passport-fraud-case-fatally-shot/

Quoted below

A key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department was fatally shot in front of a District church, the Metropolitan Police Department said yesterday.

Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators, was found late Thursday night slumped dead inside a car, in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast, said Cmdr. Michael Anzallo, head of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

[snip]

City police said they do not know whether his death was a direct result of his cooperation with federal investigators.

“We don’t have any information right now that connects his murder to that case,” Cmdr. Anzallo said.

[snip]

A State Department spokeswoman yesterday declined to comment, saying the investigation into the passport fraud is ongoing.

The Washington Times reported April 5 that contractors for the State Department had improperly accessed passport information for presidential candidates Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain, which resulted in a series of firings that reached into the agency’s top ranks.

One agency employee, who was not identified in documents filed in U.S. District Court, was implicated in a credit-card fraud scheme after Lt. Harris told federal authorities he obtained “passport information from a co-conspirator who works for the U.S. Department of State.”

"Obama should never have been President or a Senator. Exactly how it was made to happen is what I’d like to know."

Records that were sealed (like his birth certificate and his school records) of his political opponents were magically unsealed just before elections so that the opposing party didn't have enough time to field a viable replacement.
