Wallass went right after the Russian meddling meme with video clips claiming that Trump was undermining his intel, DHS, and State Department who briefed the WH press corps on Russian meddling in the 2016 election by calling it a hoax. Wallass is like a dog with a bone, he just can't give it up.

Bolton did a so-so job of explaining that Trump was not contradicting his staff. To be clear, the Russian hoax is the narrative that the Trump campaign colluded/conspired with the Russians against Hillary. The DNC,Hillary, and Obama are the ones who colluded with the Russians to savage the Trump campaign and spy on them. The Steele dossier was used as the pretext to monitor the Trump campaign and transition teams as well as the first nine months of his Presidency.

Bolton should have been much stronger in his response. It was a softball right down the middle. No votes were changed. So what was the real impact of Russian meddling? Was it even comparable to Mexican meddling and its government trying to influence the 13 million legal Mexican immigrants in this country? Mexico has 50 consulates in the US. No other country has as many consulates in any single host country.

Bolton also did not do a very good job on defending the President's "trade war" with China. Disappointing performance this morning.
