The June 3, 2016, email sent to Donald Trump Jr. could hardly have been more explicit: One of his father’s former Russian business partners had been contacted by a senior Russian government official and was offering to provide the Trump campaign with dirt on Hillary Clinton.
The documents “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,” read the email, written by a trusted intermediary, who added, “This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
He replied within minutes: “If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”
Four days later, after a flurry of emails, the intermediary wrote back, proposing a meeting in New York on Thursday with a “Russian government attorney.”

.... To this day I am left wondering .... Who took possession of the "Dirt" on Hillary? .... Answer? .... Nobody!!! ..... There was none. The whole thing was just a Ruse ... (probably a set up ) .... Heck ... Nothing of note transpired ... there was a meeting and both parties left unfulfilled. Therefore there was ZERO Anti Trust Collusion in this matter .... And ZERO guilt in a court of law. #7. You’ve got the Chron line right and the cast of “usual suspects” re Hillary, the DNC and the Steele dossier.
It was the DNC that paid for CONTINUED research by Steele after the Republican group dropped their work agreement/contract with Steele. Steele was on his own with nothing to show for his work and nobody really interested in it EXCEPT THE DEMOCRATS WHO WEE GOING TO USE IT TO UNDERMINE CANDIDATE TRUMP AND HIS CAMPAIGN.
Remember, Steele had NO ORIGINAL documentation on Trump’s alleged activities in Russia and had to rely on three anonymous Russians who conveniently had “dirt” on Trump. How in the world did they get “it” (whatever crap they were selling to Steele”) because in a police state, you just don’t go out on your own and do investigative journalism and live.
Therefore Steele became the “collusionist” with Russia, the Clinton cabal/organizations and the DNC became the “financial collusionists” with Steele (and possibly the 3 Russian sources - any money given to them?). Nellie Ohr became a “launderer” of information and possibly money to DOJ, Steele, etc, including the NY Times, Yahoo News - Isikoff, possibly Sid Vicious Blumenthal and his criminal gang, her husband at DOJ, maybe even Comey, Clapper, Brennan, etc.
I know I’ve left out other “cut-outs” and launderers but you get my drift.
As the old religious saying goes, “Let the links (circle) be unbroken” and in this case, those links should become prisoner chains and handcuffs for all involved.

What could be more dirty on Hillary than what everyone already knew about Hillary at that time?
A slight correction. There was a Republican individual (name forgotten), who originally hired Fusion GPS to find information on Trump et al. Then he ended the contract with Fusion because nothing was being produced.
Possibly a few weeks or months went by before DNC/Hillary got Fusion to work with Steele who apparently had been shopping his “Russian sourced collusion materials” all over the US including Sen.John McCain, who took the bait and the dossier.
I’m losing my ability to remember all the sleazeballs on the Left who were involved in the fake Steele dossier affair.
No one but the Democrats knew the DNC computers had been hacked until three days after the Trump Tower meeting.
Probably no one knew this because they hadn’t been hacked yet and probably never were.
What if the fake “hack” was staged after the Trump Tower meeting to create a “Watergate Break-In” where otherwise there was nothing to be had, so the Democrats could play the victim [win or lose]...after they had given their choice of emails on thumb drives to Wikileaks to “prove” they were hacked with a few spicy emails thrown in to be convincing but nothing of actionable consequence ?
