I could watch that clip over and over and over. They really tried to make the bike crash as spectacular as possible. Come on, it’s a bike. They should have shown his body hitting the barbed wire and then his head rolling down the road and his helmut landing on a fence post.
WOW; hadn’t see that one in many years! Still wrenches my gut. What happened to Dennis Hopper’s and Jack Nicholson’s characters; how’d they get killed?
There’s usually a “continuity manager” (or something like that title) on every movie, who makes sure backgrounds are the same from shot to shot, clothes are the same, props are the same, haircuts are the same, vehicles etc etc etc. They must have spent that movie’s personnel slot’s salary on weed. Heh.
That movie was so bad, and that was 100% because of him. I felt terrible for my kids who were big fans of Thomas the Tank Engine. What a waste.
It didn’t help that the plot made no sense at all, but he really was just awful. At the time I assumed he was having some cognitive issues from drug use. He probably just stinks as an actor.
