I think calling Hogg a “useful idiot” is kind of a mistake. He knows exactly what he is doing and who he is working for.

Hogg told a reporter that he had headed to the school with his camera to get interviews, which sounds like he hadn’t been at school during the shooting. But he was at the school during the shooting, and being a journalist wannabe he raced home to get his camera after which he returned to the school. His comment to the journalist was ambiguous, which is why the idea that he hadn’t been there got started.
With Hogg....I would guess it's all BS....
And factually I don't trust anything some "reporter" says...either.

It’s not hard to verify because he was interviewed other times about the day of the shooting. I watched them, because I was hoping that he was caught in the very lie that you mentioned. Well he wasn’t caught. In other interviews he mentions racing home to get his camera and then racing back to school to do his own video reporting. And his friends at that school mention him being there. There’s only the one interview where his answer is ambiguous and it sounds like he wasn’t there, and people are cherry picking it and ignoring the rest. That’s not the way evidence works.
