Excellent comments. Republicans are a passive lot for the most part.

Who is going to lead the way to bring charges against the guilty?

Absolutely no one. Meanwhile, Manafort is on trial and Mueller has secured please from 2 or 3 other former Trump campaign folks. If this is "4D chess", Trump needs to play the move that's gonna put them all in check mate, like, right now.

“Who is going to lead the way to bring charges against the guilty?”

I can think of someone who won’t!

“The libs will need something to grab the news to deflect.”

Perhaps a “collusion” tidbit like Don Jr. likes Smirnov vodka.

“Twitter is saying Trump has overridden Rosenstein. Can anyone confirm?”

I can reasonably confirm that what...if anything...is released will be pure fiction with any possibly incriminating information long since scrubbed. The FBI bldg has been a beehive of scrubbing for months.

Sean doesn’t say things in LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE “CODE” either!

Yes, he does. Only I understand it. He is secretly announcing that I am his favorite Freeper.

I hope he does and I hope he de-classifies them immediately.

MSM will be all over him for endangering security

This may lead to the impeachment of Rod Rosenstein, and might lead to either a special counsel, or the replacement of Sessions. This might end the log jam, and even more revelations. Maybe.

I doubt that the Ryan lead House will impeach Rosenstein. Trump might have to do all the heavy lifting himself.

Rudy and Joe DiGenova have said that Trump won't fire Rosenstein and Sessions until after Mueller is done.

And I can't imagine Mueller giving up the ship, while Ryan remains speaker.

The the log jam could last until January.

I think we need to manage our expectations - a few people will go to jail for non-political crimes like money laundering, tax evasion, etc.

We are not going to see high level Democrats locked up for Spygate or the fake dossiers or for mishandling classified information. The Clintons won’t get locked up for selling state secrets to foreigners for profit. Sorry.

It’s just not going to happen. There will be dire consequences for Democrat political crimes though, - political consequences, not legal consequences.

Seeing corrupt Democrats skate might be hard to swallow, but the dark cloud will have a silver lining: The political consequence will be far reaching - the Democrats are going to face decades, maybe generations of inability to win elections.

On the other hand, if they were locked up, the very next Democrat President would simply grant them a full pardon.

I think Trump’s approach of destroying them politically will be far more effective than trying to lock them up.

Where's the missing "/s"?

If you imagine that that post is cute or clever, sadly, you have a problem.

Hannity is tight with Trump. There is a calculated reason he would say this. Has to be either because it will happen or to generate a response to the document being released. I will Trust The Plan.

Sure.... you can pardon dead people killed for treason

The standards for treason are Constitutionally high enough to prevent it’s use except in the most extreme cases. No one’s been executed for treason since the Civil War. A ten-year sentence would be likely today. Espionage is treated more seriously.
