The times he has gone against Trump it has been to take what most would seem to be the more conservative action (sanctions against various countries, some fiscal appropriations bills, and most importantly going against Trump’s DACA ‘reform’ and amnesty).

Sorry, this past year and half Ted Cruz has been nearly always AWOL on the greatest political crimes in our nation’s history. He could have been a powerful ally of POTUS given the rancorous primary season but he has chosen not to be.
