But 90% can.
no, try 25 to 35%
We have also criminalized EVERYTHING.
and marijuana is the weekend party drug.
Ok as a percent of the population 10 million is 10/330 = 3%. Its called math. Try it.
3% use marijuana, 97% do not.
and marijuana is the weekend party drug.”””
IF it does take up to 4 weeks to clear MJ from your system:
Let’s pretend that you & I are partners in -—a flower shop. We have a need for drivers for the 2 delivery vans we own. The employees who do the arranging of our flowers do not drive the delivery vans.
These delivery vans go to funeral home-—hospitals-—weddings—anniversary parties & other locations. They are all over town at any time of the day.
IF those ‘drivers’ wish to partake of MJ & it is still in their system for up to 4 weeks——
HOW do WE put such a driver into OUR company van & turn them loose on the streets ???????
IF there is any kind of an accident from a fender bender to worse, that driver will be tested for drugs—mandatory—and OUR insurance will be in jeopardy or CANCELLED outright.
Then WE are on the hook for thousands of $$$ of damage & the viability of OUR investment into OUR business is up in smoke...REALLY-—UP IN SMOKE !!!
Drug testing is widespread, and most insurance companies REQUIRE that it be done..Often & random & mandatory.
SKIP the tests? The insurance is teetering on the edge of cancellation. ALL because a ‘driver’ cannot leave drugs alone.
SURE-—it has been deemed legal for recreational use——but since it lingers in the system-—the employer gets stuck with such an employee for days more.
I would be drug testing at least once a week-—and the employee would be paying for it if they failed. OUT of a job & the test deducted from last paycheck.
BTW- NOT sure how it works in every state, but in California you CAN REVEAL to a prospective new employer for that fired employee you had to let go: STEALING——DRUG USE-—ALCOHOL USE.
SOOOOO=- losing any job due to failing a drug test can stay with your employment history for a very long time.
