Obama was such a downer...eight dreadful years of "Our best days are behind us. We'll never be great again. Those jobs aren't coming back. We can't drill our way out of this mess. We must retrain coal miners to be computer programmers. You can't heat your house to 72 degrees and expect other countries to be okay with that. Be sure to inflate your tires properly. My investments in green energy are going to really pay off." On and on and on...nothing but pessimism as far as the eye could see.

It is truly amazing how an optimist in the same POTUS office can make the country believe in itself again in less than 18 months and engineer the greatest economic recovery ever.

This so closely parallels the awful years of Democrat Carter pessimism followed by ebullient Reagan optimism.

He should be rebranded as Obameeyore...
