Actually, the man she stunningly defeated, Crowley, is running as an "independent" in the General Election, and I'm betting that he will win... and then switch to Dem, and get his position back as the #4 House Dem, and likely successor to Pelosi.

Primary turnout was something like 11%. She received fewer than 16,000 total votes. I suspect most voters there weren't even aware there was a contested primary, allowing a handful of activists to prevail. Plus, I don't think she's even visited her district since the primary. So yeah, I think there's a good chance she'll lose in November.

Rant Of Sorts: Why is it that when some Democrats like Ohio’s Danny O’Connor embrace moderates and decides NOT to bash Trump, then there’s a close race and/or the Dem wins? Every time there’s an election cycle, these Democrats lean more center and/or moderate in order to get elected, and once they get elected, they turn into liberals and socialists and take this country into the ground with their liberal policies. O’Connor knew that he could not embrace Socialism in OH-12, because it would’ve been a blowout. Same thing is happening with Joe Manchin in WV and many others.

How did the president do with his endorsements? I don’t think there were very many of them. He waited to get involved. Waited to see who would survive the campaign with any credibility.

You have to remember that primary campaigns are "tricky." The President did well in Michigan, witness John James' win for the Senate nomination.
