Her so-called Republican opponent has not been seen or heard from. I heard he didn't spend a dime on advertising. It's like he's a candidate in name only. So she's basically unopposed.

Actually, the man she stunningly defeated, Crowley, is running as an "independent" in the General Election, and I'm betting that he will win... and then switch to Dem, and get his position back as the #4 House Dem, and likely successor to Pelosi.

He’s teasing her with even more whack job statements she seems all to willing to co-opt.

She’s going down

Primary turnout was something like 11%. She received fewer than 16,000 total votes. I suspect most voters there weren't even aware there was a contested primary, allowing a handful of activists to prevail. Plus, I don't think she's even visited her district since the primary. So yeah, I think there's a good chance she'll lose in November.

If the Republicans played their cards right, they could sneak out a win here, by pitting Ms. Socialist against Mr. Never-Gonna-Give-Up-My-Seat!

But I don’t think the NY Republicans know how to play that game anymore.

Crowley practically wrote the book on being a totally corrupt politician. He is a real bum. He doesn't even LIVE in his supposed district--he has a house in Virginia and his kids attend Virginia schools! I would have said of the primary, "Ding, dong, the witch is dead!" but a certifiably crazy commie wench, complete with the bulging crazy eyes, won the primary. It's like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. The so-called Republican candidate---I can't even tell you his name, he's been that torpid in campaigning. Honestly, it's like he signed up to be the candidate and then went right back to his regular day job, not spending a single hour campaigning. So unfortunately, unless people vote for "the devil they know"---and he is truly a devil---she will waltz right into the House. Isn't that sickening? One day a commie bartender, the next a member of Congress.

.... Crowley, is running as an “independent” in the General Election,...

Who told you that? He already backed her in November.
