I read there was a big computer glitch in this last liberal county. The ONLY thing that came to mind was a slight adjustment in the tally, now that they knew how many votes they needed.

There is no such thing as a computer glitch. GIGO, or Lies in lies out (LILO.)

For you Kansans out there, is it likely that the delay in counting Johnson County votes is due to voter fraud?

That crept in to the back of my mind. I hope not.

Because one is Kris Kobach and one is not. He’s not overly popular in the eastern part of the state.

Johnson County is promising unofficial results by 8 AM. According to the news they are using brand new polling machines.

Always a glitch in lefty areas. Wow.

“Delay in reporting vote tally in Republican precinct” - said no one ever.

I voted yesterday.

The machine prints out your vote choices. You inspect it and insert it back into the voting machine.

I say if there is a delay more than x hours, those votes don’t count.

Good point. Let the idiots hash it out with their local ejection committee or registrar. Elected reps should be held accountable for ruining their constituents’ votes.

I know Kris Kobach and worked with him on immigration for almost a decade. He has been the legal guru behind all the major court fights we have had on immigration. He was involved in the several AZ cases that have gone to SCOTUS, Hazelton, Texas, etc.

Kris is one of the most impressive people I have ever met. His educational credentials are impeccable and he has the common touch. When it comes to immigration issues, he is the consensus legal expert. People like Jeff Sessions, Stephen Miller, Lou Barletta, Joe Arpaio, Roy Beck, Mark Krikorian, et. al. respect and admire Kris. Trump has relied on Kris as an advisor on immigration matters.

I pray Kris hangs on. It will be tough in Johnson County. I went to KU.

That's a great way to give you a false sense of security.

That's what my sister was saying. But apparently they're having problems uploading the results from the machines.

Brownback was governor but got appointed to something in the Trump administration, then Colyer got appointed by the Kansas republicans who are craven pragmatists, to screw Kobach.

Real conservatives prefer Kobach.

Colyer was twice elected as Brownback's lieutenant governor. Once Brownback resigned then per the state constitution Colyer became governor. He didn't get appointed to anything by anyone.

It's a three way race in November with Greg Orman running as an independent. Whoever wins the Republican nomination will benefit from the split vote.
