Sexism strikes again! When women mess up in public, it attracts more attention than when men do! Who knew? But fortunately, we have Mika Brzezinski to enlighten us.

On today’s Morning Joe, speaking of the stumbles of socialist superstar Alexandria Ocasio-Ortez, Mika Brzezinski said:

“Women are learning, in real time, to fail publicly. Andrea [sic] Ocasio-Cortez has had a rough run since she won in New York. But, we do it! Just like men. And we have a bigger reaction to it, because for some reason, when women fail, it’s much more of a story than men.”

Funny, coming from the co-host of a show that has as its unrelenting focus the alleged failures of the man occupying the White House.

Ocasio-Cortez did not fail because she's a woman - she failed because she's pushing a socialist-communist-islamist (look at who she championed) agenda on America, and America said, "No Thanks!".

Makes sense but given the length of the clip 20-30 sec whatever led her to this comment must not have been included.

O-C hasnt failed(yet that I know of), she just has been showing herself as ignorant and clueless in interviews.

It was said in the context of Mika pushing her “Know Your Value” brand. She preceded it by saying that women have to speak up for themselves because no one else will. And she ended by sending people to “Know Your Value” to learn more.

I wonder if that is because people like her spend so much time trumpeting that women are so much more competent than men that they can dance the same dance as Fred Astaire except they have to do it backwards and with heels, that when it blows up in their faces and it is revealed that they have the same stupidities and faults that many men have, that even the men who are supposed to be their political allies find it newsworthy?
