Yeah...We don’t need to start sounding like the dems before the Nov 8th presidential election....They were all yelling Hillary was a lock!!!!

We don’t need to do that...We need to get out the vote and annihilate the dems...

detailed historical analysis.

There is the problem. Since 2015 they keep trying to force politics in the era of Trump to fit their traditionalist poltical prism. If that forecasting based on "historical context" actually worked, Trump would of never been elected

No one from El Paso has ever won a statewide election, and Beto will not be the first.

Texans living outside West Texas do not give a rip about El Paso...speaking from personal experience, I lived there about 15 years.

Many of the counties showing blue for Beto have less than 1000 voters. Ted has the suburbs of North Texas and Houston firmly in his corner.

In the 2016 primary, Ted won 255 of 259 counties, Trump won the other 4.

Conservatives will show up to vote for Ted, though I'll bet many won't cast a vote for congresscritters. My rep is Kenny Marchant, who is a bleeping ghost in his district. Problem is the Dems keep running loony birds against him, instead of cultivating candidates that are more in line with the districts they'd represent.

Last election, the Democrats ran a CPA...on first glance, not so bad. Then I went to her campaign website, and her stances were way out of the mainstream, and her priorities were liberal as hell.

Confident talk in Washington that swaggering Republicans will fatten their majority in the Senate to a filibuster-proof 60 seats in the fall elections is shifting to nail-biting whispers the Democrats could take charge and install Sen. Chuck Schumer as leader.

LOL! Those who are worried that the Democrats will take the Senate are about as crazy as those who think the GOP will wind up with a 60 seat majority in January.

I could give a rats ass if we were ahead by ten gajillion points.

Get to hell out and VOTE!

It takes what? A little time? A little time to assure you and your kids security? Is that time worth it?

Indeed, I’d bet 10 grand the republicans will retain the Senate. If Trump can pull off some October surprises such as this apparent deal in the Mideast, getting something in writing with the Norks, possible good developments in Iran’s, successful resolution of the trade war, etc, the
House could be locked down as well

Shut your Globalist mouths, and watch PT carry the dead corpse of the GOP to victory.

If conservatives stay home in Texas and Utah, and perhaps Arizona if McSally wins the primary, those Senate seats could go blue.

Texas and Utah are not going to go blue. And while Arizona is edging a bit towards purple, losing that would be a stretch.

New fake fear. To be filed with the predictions of a Hilary landslide.

Looks like Texas is safe—at least as far as the Senate goes.

Although this is not a likely outcome, the fact we discuss it as credible, shows how dishonest we are.

My rep is Kenny Marchant, who is a bleeping ghost in his district.

I remember when Kenny first ran for Congress. He talked to me for a long time on my front porch, and convinced me that he was a real conservative, who'd go to Washington and represent our North Texas values.

He put on a decent show at first, but soon started quieting down, and sending fewer and fewer emails. That's when I knew the GOP-e had turned him.

I may be going a bit “out on a limb” here but the DIMs could lose ALL of their seats...in both houses! You heard it here first.

It’s almost impossible for the Republicans to lose the Senate this year.

Correct, simply because of the map.

Mitt Romney is going to be elected, but McSallycain and Cruz could lose.
McSallycain because she’s a Bush League Republican in favor of abandoning the rule of law and surrendering the country.
Cruz because he ticked off so many conservatives by running for President when he was still a Canadian and then making an ass of himself at the convention.
