The massive failure of Democratic Socialists in yesterday's primaries
American Thinker ^ | 08/08/;2018 | Rick Moran

If Democratic Socialists are "the future" of the Democratic party, they had better get used to losing – a lot.

Every single candidate endorsed by celebrity Democratic Socialist politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was beaten by establishment Democrats in yesterday's primaries.  And not just beaten – they were, in most cases, slaughtered.

The blood on the floor in Democratic precincts across the Midwest is Democratic Socialist blood.

American Mirror:

Cortez held a whirl-wind tour of the U.S., stumping for Abdul El-Sayed for governor of Michigan, Fayrouz Saad in Michigan's 11th Congressional District, Cori Bush in Missouri's 1st District, and is backing Congressional candidate Kaniela Ing in Hawaii.

El-Sayed lost his bid for the Democrat nomination for governor to 51.8 percent to 30.5 percent, according to numbers published by the New York Times.

Saad came in fourth in the five-way race, capturing only 18 percent of the vote.

Cori Bush lost her primary to William Lacy Clay, 56.7 percent to 36.9 percent, the Times results show.

Hawaii's primary election will be August 11.  Stay tuned to see if Ing fairs [sic] any better.

WaPo's David Weigel describes the Democratic primary winners as "centrists."  In truth, they may be in the center of the Democratic Party, but when it comes to the rest of the country, they are still far-left.

She didn't do enough endorsing, we should encourage her to do more.

Michiganders are becoming very, very alarmed about the Islamification of their state. No way candidates named Abdul or Sayeed are going to win anything there.

At least they are figuring out that primaries are the time to try to get rid of deadwood. We could do a bit more of that in the Republican party, IMHO. Sometimes what you think is deadwood is pretty resilient, but that’s why it’s called a contest.

So, the conclusion is that the Democrat party of coalitions is irreprebly rent by the socialists hell bent on either winning or losing big.

They have been cast aside to sulk and suffer

Yeah, but it's not all bad news for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Democratic Socialists.

They at least made a public show of their great devotion to Muslim politicians in America.

I'm sure their Muslim friends will remember this; they're so well-known for their loyalty to non-Muslim leftists.

I strongly disagree with the opening statement. We won nothing because there should never be socialists running for public office. Time is not on the side of conservatives. The fact that open socialists are running is a canary in the coalmine. Time, shifting demographics and public education that is void of a classical American curriculum, is the ticking time bomb.

We need to insist in reform that properly teaches Americanism, logic, and rhetoric. Strong humanities first. STEM second. Right now.

How can FR be used to that end? If this fails we lose our nation and our children.

“We could do a bit more of that in the Republican party”

We SHOULD DO A LOT MORE of that in the Republican Party if we want President Trump’s agenda to succeed.

Her win was a fluke from a combination of apathy, laziness, and Soros support.

Most voters stayed home for stunning Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez win

But we’re up against a system where a bunch of weak, spindly leftist sticks from media, Hollywood, finance, tech, education and government bind themselves tightly together to form a virtually unbreakable faggot...

How do you propose reform?
