So THAT’S why radical Leftists love Islam.
They get to tax Christians.
Somebody on FR coined a term to describe the unholy axis between the Left and Islam in America: the “Hammer and Crescent”.
They’re both totalitarian, hate Christianity, the West and Israel, and preach violence against those who resist their agenda.
Our local mosque was an old storefront with “Islam Is The Solution!” painted on it. A friend who is a rabbi remarked, “Then it must be a really stupid question!”

Islam is also a very crude form of socialism, and not at all incompatible with one particular form known as “National Socialism”, better known by its contraction from the German name, “Nazi”, also notable for its virulent anti-Semitism.
Militant Islam is the true precursor to the National Socialist German Workingmen’s Party, and a large part of Adolf Hitler’s inspiration.
Jihad is not something new that appeared on the planet within the past forty or fifty years. It was around in the days of Kublai Khan, and traces its beginnings to the early persecution of Mohammed Ali and his followers, resulting in the Hegira from Mecca to Medina.
After that episode, paranoia became an integral part of Islam, and continues to this day.
“Islam is only solution to solve America’s problems,”
Because Islam has been such a roaring success in ordering a civilized society in the sh*thole where he came from.
And both ideologies profit from looting the cultures or bank accounts of others.
