Novichok was first developed in the 1970s and Eighties by what was then the Soviet Union. The name means “newcomer” in Russian, and indicates the fact that when it was developed it marked a major breakthrough in the power of such chemical weapons.
That new potency meant that it was by some way the most powerful nerve agent in the world, and it continues to be thought one of the most deadly weapons available.
Yet they survived?
Is there conclusive evidence that it was the Russians rather than the Britslamists who have a chemical warfare facility just a few miles away who carried out the poisoning?
The government in Londonstan is just as likely a culprit, and had an easier means to carry this out.

They better provide some prof first. Because the lab that analyzed the poison said they could not tie it to Russia or anyone specifically.
Why did Russia keep him locked up for 13 years than release him...just to poison him later? He was a double agent, I’m sure no one would care if Russia just killed him when he was locked up.
Considering that Russia isn’t proven to have been involved, this strongly suggests that the NeoCons and warmongers are directing our foreign policy, which is extremely discouraging.
China says thank you very much for pushing Russia closer & closer to us. Combined, their military power exceeds & will exceed ours.

There’s one big problem with the frequent speculation that this might have been the work of British Intelligence. While I’ve no doubt that MI5 etc are as capable of the dirtiest tricks as any other spy agency if they so choose, I don’t believe that they would do so in such a way that large numbers of uninvolved British civilians would be put at serious risk, when there are plenty of other methods which would have hit the Skripals only. The three other casualties (one fatal), and the potential for many more, show that whoever did this had no concern whatever for the collateral.
