Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley has secured the Republican nomination to take on Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill in November.
Hawley was expected to win Tuesdays primary, and he easily defeated the 10 other Republicans on the ballot.

The Missouri Senate race is expected to be one of the most competitive in the country, with McCaskill one of five Senate Democrats running in states that President Donald Trump carried by double digits. Inside Elections with Nathan L. Gonzales rates the Senate race a Toss-up.

There are several races we can win but it would be especially good for the future of the party to have both Hawley and John James from Michigan going in there together to bring some youth to the caucus.
Last time she had an easy win because of the incompetency of the GOP candidate, this time it won’t that easy.
The GOP should be able to pick up Senate seats in MT, ND, WV, MO, IN.
Need at least that many to offset Romney, McCain(or his daughter) and the RINO sisters.
If he can’t beat her then we have no business being in business. The vet going against Stabenow really needs the help. That’s where my $100 will go.
Then there’s Blackburn in Tenn. Red state. Popular Democrat could win. We need her. Can we count on the Tennessee GOP voters?
Hawley is going to have to get in gear. He should win this race, but he can’t do it from sitting in his office.
Nightmare scenario would be to break even and allow Romney to hold everything hostage for his vote to get things passed.
Agreed...though when you are an incumbent office holder, you have to tread a fine line - lest you open yourself up to be accused of drawing a salary for job you aren’t showing up for work for and open yourself up to this kind of an attack: https://youtu.be/Jl6vHM_CBE8?t=15s
Now all we have to do, is elect Mr. Smoot -- they can work with President Trump to erect a tariff, and we can disprove the libs and the globalists on the cause of the Great Depression (*)
Bring it on!!!
(*) No, not Omoeba's Depression. The other one.
Josh Hawley is a Todd Akins looking for a place to happen.
That’s why Claire wanted him.
Im with you on this one that is where my money will be going also, this is a real stand up guy AND a true conservative this man NEEDS TO WIN, we need him and so does Trump!!!
Why is this such a well-known time-worn tale? Oh, yeah, our favorite GOPeers. Its like out of 300,000,000 people they search hard for losers.
McSally is a terrible candidate in Arizona. If she beats Ward, Sinema will probably win. And she is hot. Don’t underestimate that visual appeal, and unlike most feminists, she dresses the part. No Korean peasant suits or seamless black pants with her shirttail hanging out.
I did not know what Sinema looked like so I searched for images.
I don’t thinks she’s hot, but she isn’t unattractive.
McSallycain looks like Miss Hathaway.
How quickly we forget. Todd Akin was neither the choice of the tea party nor the GOP insiders. Either Sarah Steelman or John Brunner would have been very electable against McCaskill. McCaskill knew who Akin was and that he would much easier to defeat, hence why she got involved in the GOP primary to help him win. She even bragged about it in her book: https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/08/todd-akin-missouri-claire-mccaskill-2012-121262
I guess that’s why both the SCF and NRSC both wanted him as well because they believe he’s another Todd Akin...
RINO Central wanted him. What does that tell you?
As I recall she started pissing her pants as soon as he was a rumored candidate.
McSally sent a mailer to my mom, her picture looks like Tom Cruise in “Top Gun”, which is not the best look for a chick.
Unless Hawley commits the same kind of blunder that Akin did. He needs to watch what he says.
