Not sure how she was behaving, but she’s not big. I saw a pic of her with her mom. Her mom is gigantic but the girl looks like typical 11 year old.
I completely agree. So the cop used a Taser? As I and many others have pointed out this was a safe and effective way to control a bad situation.

Kid shoplifting is less of an offense than a speeding ticket. Nobody’s life or health is at risk from shoplifting
It depends on how big the 11 year old was as compared to the cop. Was she a Michael Brown sized 11 year old? Some 11 year old kids look like they're 18.

The 11-year-old, Donesha Gowdy, told WLWT she was stealing a pop, bag of chips and some candy when she ignored the officer’s request to stop, then she felt the Taser barbs in her back.
“I fell and I started shaking and I turned around and I was shaking,” Gowdy said.
Donna Gowdy told WLWT what her daughter did was wrong but the officer needs to be held accountable for his actions as well.
“The officer, he needs to be punished. I need justice from him. He was wrong,” Gowdy said.
PS: Police guidelines in Cincinnati are that taser use is ok above 7 years of age.
