You tell him. Just because a teen wants to shoplift, why we should let them. Let them get away with it. Do not stop them. That’s being racist.
You can stop them but no need for violence or deadly force over the smallest crime.
Kid shoplifting is less of an offense than a speeding ticket. Nobody’s life or health is at risk from shoplifting
What it is, is condoning the breaking of laws, and by condoning the act(s), and looking the other way, the perpetrator's see that as a sign of weakness, and are emboldened in their behavior...becoming more aggressive.
