Why would anyone want to be a cop in Chicago?
Those are “Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel’s” values apparently.
Emanuel told the Tribune in a statement he agreed with Moreno, noting Chick-fil-A values are not Chicago values.
They disrespect our fellow neighbors and residents, Emanuel said.
So a Christian owned and operated family business that closes on Sunday so their employees can celebrate with their families are not values that Emanuel can get behind, but shooting up neighborhoods are okay...Okay sparky, but the optics to “the rest of the country” look pretty bad.
But yeah, blame the values associated with Chick-fil-A and not the $hitty values you are promoting as the problem...
You are the weakest link!!!!
“Its a toilet”
It’s a porta potty but yet there are those seemingly intelligent, educated, urbane few who praise and defend it. I guess if you don’t mind living under one of...if not the most corrupt criminal governments then knock yourself out.
Who are these thugs?
“Factor those out and Chicago becomes as safe as Geneva, Switzerland.”
Sure it does. More like Mogadishu. Take a gander at a more tony, upscale, yuppified, “safer Geneva-like” area of the city:
“Imagine how busy the emergency rooms get during a Chicago murder spree. Nurses, doctors, admins must be working 24 hour shifts.”
Not only that, but imagine the resources it would take to properly investigate and prosecute that level of crime. Their clearance rate for homicide is 17.5% which I assume is probably the ones where the cop rolls up to a guy holding a smoking gun.
I remember the commies in the Soviet Union touting their laws about human rights and social justice while disappearing people and forcing others into internal exile while the commissars enjoyed their dachas and western food.
Chicago is doing the same, touting social justice and improved policing while at the same time allowing large sections of the city to fall into third world lawlessness.
Tip jar is on the piano.
