I would rather Americans do the jobs - hard work teaches responsibility and incentive (the incentive to do whatever it takes to get better work) for the young... AND it encourages industrialization and innovation. But short of that - of 'Americans doing what Americans do best' I'm ready to accept short-term agriculture guest workers.

Guest workers could pick the crops AND LEAVE - go home - right after the picking is done - or go onto another crop in a different region. Today's farmers bring in illegals to pick the crops then help them apply for welfare and food-stamps until the crops need picking again OR until the illegals find better paying jobs.

That's a nightmare for citizens forced to support wealthy farmers because step two is when the farmers bring in MORE illegals to replace the ones who got better jobs or vegged out on welfare.

It's nuts.

Our schools, hospitals, social service agencies, interstate systems, neighborhoods and culture are stressed to the breaking point so damn liberal ‘elites’ get cheap labor and new voters. It's got to stop and Trump's the only person who can do it... everyone else is too deep into 'donors'... and corruption.

Agreed...It’s a shame more Americans don’t do more of this work, get young HS and college kids out there on summer break and maybe welfare queens (which won’t happen) off their rears.

Welfare benefits should completely be terminated for seasonal workers brought in from outside country, require them to leave when seasonal work is done...period.
