Turkey (Ottoman Empire) sided with Germany and fought against the USA in WWI.

Turkey signed a Mutual Aid Pact with France and Britain in 1939 but backed out when Germany invaded France.

In June 1941, after neighboring Bulgaria joined the Axis and allowed Germany to move troops through to invade Yugoslavia and Greece, Turkey signed a non-aggression pact with Germany.

Turkey was an important producer of chromite, which is a key ingredient in the manufacture of stainless steel. Turkey remained neutral so they could sell chromite to both Germany and the allies during the war. Turkey halted its sales to Germany in April 1944 and broke off relations in August.

Turkey declared war on the Axis powers in February 1945 when they saw which way the war was going.

Bottom line.... DON’T TRUST A TURKEY

You forgot, killed a million and a half Armenian Christians, and are now murdering Kurds.
I hate the Turks.
