Office near CA Capitol is locked, unmarked and not open to the public.
SACRAMENTO, In California, long lines are a fact of life at Department of Motor Vehicles offices across the state, but for California lawmakers and their legislative staffers, theres an alternative.
KCRA has learned of a DMV office that is not open to the public.
Its located inside the Legislative Office Building on N Street, adjacent to the state Capitol.
The office, inside Room 121, has no markings on the door and was locked when KCRA visited it on Thursday, but after knocking, a worker confirmed it was a DMV office and said its set up to handle customer complaints that escalate to the legislative branch.
However, having a private office for legislators and their Capitol staff is a source of frustration for Assemblyman Jim Patterson, R-Fresno. His request for an official DMV audit was denied when three Democrats -- Senators Ricardo Lara, of Los Angeles; Ben Allen, of Santa Monica; and Jim Beall, of San Jose -- abstained from voting.
I've been here six years and I'm not surprised that legislators have given themselves special privileges and perks that typical Californians just don't get, Patterson said
....
Patterson charged that Democratic lawmakers were pressured by Gov. Jerry Brown to abstain.
We know for a fact that the governor weighed in with these members, told them expressly not to vote for it, Patterson said.
...
Patterson remained frustrated by the lack of a comprehensive audit.

Animal Farm, in action...
Well, this must be stopped ASAP.
Looking for my blood-pressure machine
People are waiting 7 hours to get their “real IDs.”
California spends over $2 million in ‘administrative costs’ on each of its 120 members of the state legislature.
The state furnishes cars to each legislator while they are in Sacramento. Leaders get other vehicles for use in their districts.
Its good to be in Das Party.
Four legs good, two legs bad.
Typical corrupt Democrat operation...Just like the corrupt in D.C. opting out of Obama care while attempting to force that mandate on all of the peon tax payers. Spit*
Last time I was forced to go a CA DMV, it looked like I waked into a bullfight in Mexico...Many hours later I got my pic taken. Once I saw the pic, it appeared like I was about to go on a murderous rampage.
If anyone ran a private business like this, they wouldn’t
last 5 days. Pathetic!
So that’s why so many driver license pictures look ugly.
So typical, they excuse themselves from gun laws, too, give themselves special privileges, etc. How soon until we see the give them officials-only driving lanes (or maybe they already get pass to use HOV lanes?).

Walmart shoppers must really stink because FBI agent Peter Strzok says that Walmart shoppers smell funny, but he claimed nothing smelled funny when Hillary deleted 30,000 emails and bleach-bit washed her hard-drives before smashing them with hammers.
We have AAA. They can take care of most Motor Vehicle related issues like Renewals or Change of Ownership at any Auto Club location.
Only go to the DMV for Driver’s a License Renewal. Without any Accidents or Moving Violations on your Record, they give you a Mail In DL Renewal without the need to show up on the first scheduled five Year Renewal Date.
That way you don’t have to visit the DMV for Ten Years.
I have showed 20 minutes early before DVM opening.
Already a line, maybe I am fifth.
Doors open, we file in and take a number.
One clerk opens her window, and at least two more wander around doing ‘administrative’ work.
So it still takes a while, and the backlog builds.
It appears to me that the DMV knows how to frustrate their customers right up to the edge of violent revolution, but not over.
