Hate to admit it, but I think you’re right. I’m glad the Black pastors have called on Trump to act, but there are so many ways that can go wrong it would be a NO WIN situation for him.I say this as someone who grew up in Chicago and finally moved to Arizona with wife and new family in “82. All my adulthood was there under the Daley Political Machine, which was bad enough> The reign of Emanuel is just an extension of the Jr. Daley’s regime-—none of them addressed Chicago’s gang problem, and I’m not just talking about black gangs, but Hispanic and White.The Chicago cops have always been “tough on crime” but in a totally misdirected way, and with no rhyme or reason, or even a semblance of a consciously crafted program to deal with it.Instead stuff happens like firing 16 shots into that kid on the street who was stupidly lurching down the middle of the street, unarmed, and an apparent threat to no one. I am referring to the famous video that Rahm knew was incriminating, and so, decided to withhold it till after the last election.
They will still vote straight democrat.
